Fender Undercoating and Fixing Cracks on a 71

I poked my head under the fenders on my 71 today and found the undercoating flaking off. Suggestions for recoating? How would auto undercoating in a spray can work?

I also found several cracks in the plastic fenders in vertical area on the outside of the fender adjacent to the trailer skin. The rest of the fender is intact and structurally looks OK. Anyone know of a product to glue and seal the cracks?

I used Mar-Hyde Undercoating (product # 4111) which is not a rubberized coating. It was put on over a year ago and it still doing it's job. I had one outrigger at the back of the fenderwell which had started to rust out. I sprayed it, plugged it with some type of body tar and sprayed over it with Mar-Hyde again. Looks fine.
