seal & repair roof

We have a 2005 19' Bambi and it's time to seal the roof due to some small minor leaks.

In terms of what is required to do this ourselves?

a) short list of supplies needed
b) overview of steps ( scrap old caulk, etc )

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Acryl-R panel sealer

Try Acryl-R panel sealer which comes in a can. It wicks in between panels. The pump applicator is needed also. You may have to remove excess caulking if it was heavily caulked before. This can be done with either sharpened popsicle sticks of one of those plastic hook caulk removers sold at hardware stores.

Go ahead and redo any vent stack flashings, they seem to have a pretty short life span. I don't know if the newer trailers use the old style ones with the rubber gasket or something different.

Good idea on the vent stacks since they seem to last 5 or 6 years at best. Use Sikaflex or Trempro635 for that job.
