Good luck!

You can figure about a gallon per coat on a 34'. I put three coats on and had about 2 gallons left in a five gallon container. Not sure where you can find it in Canada.

Ceramiflex is made by Sealoflex. If it is not available locally you can get it from the factory. The factory only sells 5 gallon containers. However, the factory will ship a product they call Final Coat in one gallon containers. Factory says it has similar properties.

In contrast to thread above, the factory says acid etch primer should be used first. They also sell that in gallons.

The factory is contradicting its own Data Sheet on the product then--wonder why?

To sell me another bucket of paint perhaps? Anyway I bought, I don't want to do the job again in a few years if the paint does not stick.

I ordered my 5-gal bucket (smallest size they ship) right from the factory...

Used less than a gallon for two coats - recommended application. You definitely need the second coat to cover the first layer. Three might be too much...

Their contact info:

SEALOFLEX INC.
2520 Oscar Johnson Dr.
Charleston, SC 29405
Tel: (843) 554-6466
Fax: (843) 554-6458
Toll-Free: (800) 770-6466

Good people to deal with. Got the material quickly, albeit paid heavily for the shipping costs from SC to NM...

Good luck...

Spoke to Sealoflex again today. The guy I spoke to this time said the metal etch primer might not be necessary. Suggested doing a "pull test"- use the paint to glue a piece of drywall tape to a section, let it dry, and try to pull it off. It it pulls, you need the primer. Said the primer couldn't hurt though. But, I ordered the primer and it's on it's way.

Also the label on the Ceramiflex says 'not a substitute for final coat" The tech said Ceramiflex is part of a system for waterproofing. But if you are mainly looking for reflectivity you don't need the final coat.

He also said they don't sell much Ceramiflex. They sell more Reflectowhite.

Instead of Sealoflex product, I wonder if EPDM "liquid rubber roof" would fit your needs? For more details, surf:
