Removing FF and installing MaxxFan

OK, 2003 Classic.

I am replacing the two Fantastic fans. Have done this before on rubber roofs, not an AS. So, what am I getting into and what tools do I need to anticipate as I remove the FF and the related sealant?

I have the rest of the details, just wondering about what I need to anticipate in removal and cleaning before new install.
