Removed TV Antenna...
to make room for future solar setup. Looking for advice on how to cover and seal the hole in the roof.
current plan is to cover with a piece of sheet aluminum. screws or rivets? also, what is the best sealant to use?
thanks for your help. jk

Be sure to use Vulkem or Trempro. A liberal amount under the patch, then seal either the rivets, or screw heads that you have used to secure the patch. I removed the antenna from my 1971 Caravel and used Vulkem. Best of luck to you.

I "temporarily" covered the hole with a jar lid and just vulkem about 5 years ago. Out of sight out of mind.

Sounds like the sealant of choice is vulcem. I guess I'll have to order some. Any thoughts on Sikaflex 221? I have two tubes of that... Thanks again, jk

Thanks! That is pretty much what I was planning. Hadn't though of the spray-foam in the holes though. Will definitely do that. jk

Go with the product you have. It works as well!

TV Antenna????
I thought the thingy on the top of mine trailer was a high speed collapsible clothes drying rack...Now I know why I kept losing some many clothes between rest stops.

If you use Sikaflex to attach the clothes to the rack, that may solve your problem........might save you stops at Costco for new undies.

I thought it was a high speed type of spoiler... I had my wife riding in the trailer to crank it up when I hit 70 mph, to help stabilize the trailer at high speeds.
No wonder my wife said she got better tv reception at 70+ mph
