Refrigerator vent cover '74 Argosy

Does anyone have a picture of a 74 Argosy vent cover for the refridgerator vent? I'm looking at mine and it appears the PO changed it drastically. Not sure what he used, but I can see the old outline of the original that is curved. The outline still has the rivets sticking out. Are there replacements available? I'm in the painting process, so I want to try to get something to get it working right! I can fab something up too, but would like to see what was up there. Thanks in advanced! Tom

I just went out and took a photo of mine on my '74 Argosy. Send me a note and I will get it to you.

The vent cover is the same, although painted, that you would see on any similar vintage Airstream trailer. Nothing special, though two different lengths were made at the time.

The refrigerator vent cover is cracked on my 1977 Argosy motorhome.

The vent we need is available at Inland RV. It is part #84000.

Inland RV vent (stamped aluminum)
28" L x 8.5" W x 4" H

My Argosy MH Fridge vent cover (made of some sort of plastic)
24" L x 9" W x 4.5" H

Andy's website page says to seal the old holes with rivets before installing the larger vent cover evenly over the existing vent.
