Putting on New AC Shroud and Studs are all but gone

I am trying to put a new AC shroud on my old Coleman Mach 3 which is probably the original 1981 unit. I got what was left of the nuts off the studs but there is not much left of the studs. I was wondering what my options are.

I guess worse case I could put in sheet metal screws just behind or in front of the existing 1/4"-20 studs. I don't have the time or the facilities to remove the thing and install new studs and I don't have the time right now if I did.

The old shroud came off in pieces it was so rotten. I really did not even need to remove the screws.

Any suggestions?

I got it from here and it does fit although the holes were a little off. You can always lengthen the slots or put in new holes.

If I had a decent parts diagram, it would give me a good idea where I can and can't drill holes in the sheet metal. My knee is already screwed up and I am not sure how many more trips I can make up the ladder.

Just to update what I ended up doing, I drilled new holes in the sheet metal where the original studs were located. On the back, I put new holes about an inch in front of the studs and on the front I put them about an inch behind the studs. I used some #10 sheet metal screws and some big stainless steel washers.
