Man, I hope my use of the denatured alcohol as final wipe on the old surface after the caulk removal and before the Sika application does not cause any problems... heading to Rocky Mtn NP for two weeks on Friday (3,000 mile trip). I thoroughly wiped it off and it immediately dried. Hard to imagine it would cause a problem to the Sikaflex, unless it left some kind of residue that prevents the Sika from sticking to the surface.
I will keep an eye on it to see and report back. I hate to have to redo the job unless absolutely necessary....

Used the 3mm tape 7yrs ago on the new skylight install, a little faded but still pliable and tight as a drum.
Just finished both FF vents and tv antenna. Expect the same there. 😍
Also works well for FW leaks. Had pex line crack on the output side of the pump. Emergency repair two years ago, still holding. 👍
You'll be surprised at how often you'll find something to use it for.

THIS roll did both FF vents and the antenna with several yards left over.
What size were you looking at?

As I recall Lewster has repeatedly said not to use alcohol, use acetone instead.
But that's my memory.

Doubt you'll find any info on this forum about it. But I now use a product called everseal SB140. You have to order it from them. It is the only product I've ever seem stick to plastic, glass and metal with equal bond. Amazing stuff and about 11 bucks for a tube. I have been in using sealants in the off road trucking industry for 15 years. I wish I found this sooner.

Troutboy, thank you for finding Lewster's post, makes me feel much better! about my use of denatured alcohol to clean prior to Sika application!
If good enough for the Lewster, good enough for me!

Roof coating
We use "Elastomeric Roof coating & sealant. Have used this white rubber paint for years on our Airstream Land Yacht motor home and our 20 foot enclosed car trailer. Seal and reflects the heat. We get it at Home Depot and have recommended it on these Airstream Forums for years.
Easily applied by brush and roller. We do around the openings and seams by brush, then tape the edge lines and roll the rest.

Judging from where you are from, you had your rig at the same dealership that I used. I had a leak and they told me that my roof need to be resealed. I had them reseal the roof at a cost of just over $10,000. When they were done, I still had the leak. It turned out to be a cracked Fantastic Fan flange on the roof. BTW they also took off the air conditioner which they replaced without the required gasket. I needed to take the Airstream back to Jackson Center to have the air conditioner installed properly.
My thoughts: DO NOT HAVE THEM DO ANY WORK ON YOUR AIRSTREAM.
I would take it back to Jackson Center. They have free camping for the service department customers — they bring your trailer back to your camp site every night and pick it again in the morning. You can also do some site seeing / camping in conjunction to the trip.

PS The resealing I talked about was on my 2010 27FB Classic, not my 2016 Classic. I will never have any work done at that dealership, warranty or otherwise!

PPS Call of the tech support / service folks at Airstream and talk with them. If you plan on doing the work yourself, they will recommend (and sell) the correct product.

At $100 an hour, thats 100 hours of work. Caulking does not cost that much, and there are zero specific skill sets required to scrape off old caulk and squeeze a trigger!
Im sorry, but thats absurd!
You still have a leak? My first tow would be to the attorney generals office.

And what would a complaint to the Attorney General accomplish? Would he take my word or the word of a large dealership that has plenty of money to contribute to a political party? I already talked with an attorney and for thousands of dollars, I would probably lose since I cannot prove that some of the water was not coming in the seals
Now,maybe we can get back to helping. As for sealing, there is caulking around the roof penitrations. Then there is the sealant that goes between the aluminum panels where they are riveted together. The caulking and sealant are different. In addition, they have changed over the years. Using the wrong one can be a catastrophe. I could tell you what I use but it may be wrong for your coach. I do not want to be responsible for recommending the wrong caulk or sealant that may react badly with what is on your coach.
Note: caulk and sealant are not the same and they are not used in the same places.

Maybe you should ask questions and get the facts before pretending to be more intelligent that the folks you are communicating with.
