How often complete strip and reseal roof

I'm at Airstream plant now and they suggest every 5 years to remove old caulking and reapply new. Mine is a 2003 classic 28' and the service tech said its all original on top. They are removing old, replacing skylights and resealing everything including windows. Sevice tech said "everything is being taken off and resealed" Just an FYI. I live in Wisconsin. The trailer lived for its prior 10 years in Alabama in a covered shed. No leaks anywhere to date since we had it. Gals this is getting done.

That sounds like a good idea. About how much do they charge for that service?

My 76 has never had roof stripped or resealed and sat out side from 1977 until 1991 now inside winter only, no leaks or caulking done. Only sunburn drivers side roof and front and rear end caps, common with older AS.
