i managed (with great disappointment) to find my door eyebrow for my 65 caravel broken. have not been able to come up with a replacement.
so is there is way to make one? is there aluminum channel that can be bent? are there any other products that i can use? i have even been coveting aluminum chairs at mcdonalds. i just need something with the right radius.

That sounds like a toughie, but this is absolutely the place to find out. Perhaps an English Wheel or some other kind of roller, but I seem to recall that mine had little cuts along the edge of the lip where it turned.

One of the major resto projects had one. I'm guessing it was Carlos or A-Merry-Can but if I'm sure someone will have a link at hand. I think they used the original as a template then cut a new piece and formed/ massaged it to shape.

Kevin, I tried to make one myself without much success. I have limited metal working tools and its tricky. So I had David make me one and it fit perfectly.
