door eyebrow replacement?

i managed (with great disappointment) to find my door eyebrow for my 65 caravel broken. have not been able to come up with a replacement.
so is there is way to make one? is there aluminum channel that can be bent? are there any other products that i can use? i have even been coveting aluminum chairs at mcdonalds. i just need something with the right radius.
ideas?

That sounds like a toughie, but this is absolutely the place to find out. Perhaps an English Wheel or some other kind of roller, but I seem to recall that mine had little cuts along the edge of the lip where it turned.
Oh well - good luck!

Hi, I'm sure someone on this forum sells them or can make one.

One of the major resto projects had one. I'm guessing it was Carlos or A-Merry-Can but if I'm sure someone will have a link at hand. I think they used the original as a template then cut a new piece and formed/ massaged it to shape.

Kevin, I tried to make one myself without much success. I have limited metal working tools and its tricky. So I had David make me one and it fit perfectly.
