Check out the Werner 16. Foot multi position ladder. It's really nice for working on the roof of your airstream and use it as scaffold for waxing up high. It can be positioned into multiple setups from extension, step, scaffold. It lets you stay on the ladder in the middle of your roof.

It's a bit pricey, but in IMHO the best class 1A ladder for carrying on board is the Telesteps 1600EP. It has a 300 lb capacity, is rock solid and telescopes into a package that fits between the back of the sofa and the front wall of my Safari. Whenever I can, I also anchor a length of 5/8" nylon rope to something on the far side of the trailer - this acts as a safety line, and helps a lot in the process of getting me from ladder to roof and vice versa.

Thanks for the details, and welcome to the forum! For everyone's info, FCStreamer has a link for the Telesteps in Post #18. OSHA compliant as well.

Yes, but that's a different model. Here is the 1600EP on Amazon:

+1 on this product. We carry ours everywhere we go. Pricey but worth it.
