Hi, if you don't find a new bumper, you could have a bumper repair shop straighten it out for you. These bumper repair shops go to body shops daily.

Andy, of Inland RV mentioned the availability of new Chrome bumpers. But I don't know if that was for a vintage trailer. The post was from a member relating how he straightened his bent bumper. That post was a week or two ago. Heck, try the Search feature.

The original steel bumpers have not been available for many years.
You can install the new style polished aluminum bumper, but they are not cheap.
Or, you can purchase some 5 inch steel channel and fabricate a bumper.

Andy, I seem to remember bumpers of that era being from a pickup truck. Do you remember which one, or if it was a custom job for Airstream?

I have never heard that Airstream used a steel pickup truck bumper.
It could be the case, but I do not have any knowledge of that fact.
