Does anyone use their bumper storage for anything except hoses?
I plan on storing my hose under the trailer in pvc and was wondering what others have done with the bumper storage if not storing hoses. Do we even need it? Wondering.

Yes!! For you and any resale down the road. Keep it by all means.
My main power cable goes in there. Rubber gloves for handling tank dumps. Crank handle for the B-A-L jacks (I usually use a 3/4 socket & my battery operated drill for these stabilizers). 30A-15 amp adapter. 50A-30A dogbone. I wouldn't do without the bumper storage.

I think Ive got a larger bumper "trunk" than you, but I keep all my leveling blocks, hoses, power cords, jack cranks,...stuff that is dirty or can get wet. I wouldn't want to lose any storage capability.

We use the rear storage for all the hose adapters, 1-25' black hose for connecting the gray drain to the blue boy when needing to get the blue boy lower, 1- 25' blue hose w/ spray head for an extra outside water source, 1-6' black hose for connecting to black tank sprayer, 1-shovel, 1-poker for the fire, 1-tong for fire logs, and some Lynx levelers.

We use Lucy's bumper storage compartment for our fresh water curly hose, 30 amp electric cord, Sewer Solution fittings, other hose fittings, and various small junk. We store our Sewer Solution hoses in the front storage compartment.

wildrtexas,
Don't get rid of it. I sure wish I had one, our sewer hose lives in a giant tupperware box in the back of the truck.

Ok. Ok..It seems that IS the place for all the stuff I never knew where to store. How about this question...what have you done to make your bumper trunk pretty inside

Hi, at my very first camp ground, with my brand new trailer, the sewer hose that came with my trailer was too short. I immediately bought a longer, better quality sewer hose. The new longer sewer hose would not fit in the white plastic tube under my trailer, so in the bumper area it went. Also I keep my outside porch mat, sewer gloves, and my awning tool in there. In the rear bumper area the sewer hose is separated from almost everything else and because of the venting in this compartment, the smells go away and the hose dries before next use. The rear bumper storage is the perfect place for the sewer hose and connectors.
My water hoses, power cords, leveling blocks, misc. parts, and a few tools go into the outside storage compartment under my bed. [no smelly stuff in there]

All of the above, plus small propane bottles for portable BBQ and Coleman lantern, and gas syphoning tubing for generator, because it's vented.
