Ours in the version with a lift up door between the bumper and the body with holes in the bottom to let water out. It also lets in water, mud, gravel, tar and dirt through the holes and in the space around the door. I've had to hose it down more than once after driving over gravel, dirt and freshly tarred roads. I'm sure the shore power cord bounces around a lot. Maybe I shouldn't keep it in there either since bouncing does not do the copper strands in the cord any good. I keep the sewer hoses in a box in the back of truck and they wouldn't like tar, dirt, etc., either.

...our 63 had the "in" bumper. Used it for anything I could stuff in there.

The Classic has the "under" and "above" storage, still stuff it real good.

Nothing to make it pretty, just practickle...

Ripped out the stupid carpet in ALL compartments.....

Put this non-slip on all the dorz.....

We use the rear storage for a pitching machine, baseball bags, footballs, outdoor fold up chairs, castles, a tonka truck and anything not tool or sewer related. One of the side storage a is used for electrical, plumbing, etc. I have places for sewage that were already here and the other side is used for dog food storage containers, brushes, leashes, harness, fetch toys.

Now, that I wrote it down it seems like an awful lot!

Most wasps and daubers "hibernate" in the after-dark evening hours, which makes for an easier time to deal with them.
