Ours in the version with a lift up door between the bumper and the body with holes in the bottom to let water out. It also lets in water, mud, gravel, tar and dirt through the holes and in the space around the door. I've had to hose it down more than once after driving over gravel, dirt and freshly tarred roads. I'm sure the shore power cord bounces around a lot. Maybe I shouldn't keep it in there either since bouncing does not do the copper strands in the cord any good. I keep the sewer hoses in a box in the back of truck and they wouldn't like tar, dirt, etc., either.
