Any Ideas on how to fix this?

I am working on my beloved Airstream getting her back it to traveling shape. I am at a loss as to where I would find hinges that I could replace for my cover?? Also how do you get the hinges off without damaging the cover...? I turn to you my knowledgeable Airstreamers for help..

The hinge is riveted on, just drill out the rivets to remove. I use a piece of aluminum piano hinge for replacement, cut to the right length.

Drill out the rivets and go to a Marine store/Boating for a rust proof hinge. Then re rivet the new one back in place.

Just a suggestion.

DaviD I can`t expand your picture but are the hinges riveted on. If so you can drill out the rivets to remove the hinge. Fastenal sells aluminium piano hinges in three ft lengths so you can cut it to size. The hinge is actually called a continuous hinge.
