Will plastic banana wraps fit on a 1961 Ambassador?

I'm fitting the original banana wraps back on my 1961 ambassador, and the aluminum has seen better days. Does anybody know if the plastic replacement wraps will work on a 1961 trailer? If they do, does anyone have an opinion on how they look?

Thanks
John

They will be short.

We have the original banana wraps, made with gel coated fiberglass, that are replacements for the metal versions.
