which aluminum sheet for belly pan????

i am restoring a 1953 silver streak clipper in australia and i am about to install a new belly skin, i am currently trying to source 5052-H32 in 0.025" thickness as this is what every body uses for the belly pans these days but it is not available here in that thickness it is only available in 0.032" thickness, does anybody know what the next best thing to use would be should i just go with the 2024-T3 in the 0.025" thickness or would 2024-0 alclad which was originally on the silver streak (except it wasn't alclad) be the one to use for the belly pan, any advise would be much appreciated as nobody knows anything about these amazing trailers in this country look forward to hearing some expert advise from all the belly pan experts out there.

You can use .032 5052 for the belly skin but it is harder to work with becasue of the thickness. It will look better when you finish.

I made a rolling jig out of a piece of 4" sewer pipe and some clamps.

How did you raise the aluminum to the belly? I will need to do this soon. I see that it is kept up with wood, did you slide the skin into the space between the two? Would you be able to draw up your lift rig? My problem looks like this right now.
Many thanks, N8andM.
