under trailer quarter panel?

HELP!
I have had to cut out half the rear bath floor and replace it....now that I am ready to put the new plywood down I notice the aluminum panel under the floor on the right is loose....is this normal or should I seal it......??

let me try and be more descriptive about the location......

From the outside:: facing the rear of the trailer ...on the left underside near the dump hose and fresh water hook up ....
From the inside::facing the back window ....look down and to your right behind the toilet and under the floor.......
i don't knwo if i am making any sense....!
basically it is the part of the outer shell thatis in the bottom back and is a piece of aluminum about 4 feet by 3 feet attached to the main shell with rivets.....
the piece has bends in it that create gaps in the bottom shell is this normal or should I seal it up??

Safe to say that the insulation in the floor will get wet if the Bannana wrap is loose.

Also, you probably found evidence of bugs when you lifted the old floor, guess how they got in..........

The airstream should be as sealed as possible.

yep ...found old (luckily) abandoned wasp nests.......
they guy i bought it from told me that the bottom was open to let our any waer leak that might occur....
my gut said different......oh well learn as you go...thanks smily

Hope you found cause of floor problem......mine was seal above rear bumper.

thanks george jr....yes that was one of the problems....also some cad screwed a screw into on of the inner hoses in the toilet....also......bottom pan loose roadmoisture coming in....also seal around compartmt door above rear bumper bad......also no wraps on the pipes in the bath room so condensation dripped on the floor.....hmmmmm i think that;s it.....

The underbelly should never be completely sealed.

It must breathe, so that the chassis, fiberglass insulation and chassis stays dry.

If it is sealed, moisture will be trapped, and frame rusting will be promoted.
