Most of the SOB'S are using something that looks like corrugated plastic.
Don't know why it would not work on an A$.
Especially if you keep the banana wrap.

I've been thinking about using frp board. It only comes in 8' sheets at the big box store, but I plan on replacing the belly in multiple pieces anyway. Painted black, I think it'd look like undercoating.

Yea belly pans are a pain. The parimiter goes up under the body panels at floor level just above the C-channel. Pretty much no way to replace it completly with out removing the body. Covers all the sharp edges including outriggers and most importantly keeps water ect away from the floor edges. If, big if your belly pan is good down around the parimiter curve replacing the flat bottom is'nt to bad, all flats. Just cut out the old and rivit in the new. I just bought 3003 T14 4x8 sheets .032 thick for $44.00@.

My '84 31' International, the belly tin was exterior of the wall panels, covered by the C channel. Either a factory trainee made my unit or one of the POs didn't understand how water/gravity works. All the rivets looked factory though, not DIY.
Anyone else find their wall panels inboard like this?

My Argosy is the same way. The banana wrap is outside of the exterior skin with the rub rail clamping over both.
It's no wonder water gets in and ruins the floor. The area where the trunk lid attaches is like a funnel that collects water which seeps in under the C channel and in to the plywood.
It is really a lousy set up.

Mine came that way too. I replace the wraps and buck riveted under the shell. I think this maybe a 70's thing. It's a horrible building practice hopefully still not being done.
