Golf ball sized hole in banana wrap

I have a hole in the banana wrap about the size of a golf ball. I have no idea how it could have get there. Can I repair it or is it a non-issue? I can also see three spots where the aluminum is corroding through. This is happening where the banana wrap contacts the steel frame inside. Again, is this a concern with water getting in the belly area?

Banana wraps are on the 4 corners of the trailer.

What your photo shows is the "under belly wrap"

That hole could be for the drain hose from the Air conditioner.

If your Airstream has an AC, it must have a drain hole as per the original design.

See if you can find an AC drain hose near one of the road side wheels.

Easy enough to do: turn the AC on max one afternoon, and after it's run for say ten minutes, get down and look under the trailer for something dripping. )Sooner if it's a humid day)

If it doesn't drip, you are either in a very dry place, or your AC drain is blocked.

The AC drain on my trailer is right where that hole is.
