Clean Belly

Do you see any problem in using my power washer to clean off the belly of the AS.....assuming of course that I do not use the "blaster" nozzle. I have a lot of rust on the stabilizing jacks that I would like to us the "blaster" on, The remainder is just to get dirt and grime from many years (85 Limited). Should be okay if I am careful, right?

I would, but I've been criticized for using a power washer here before. If you know how to use it, spraying with the "lay of the seams", use proper distance from the nozzle to surface, as well as the proper nozzle, I don't see an issue.

I'd remove the stabilizers and have them sandblasted or glass beaded and repaint though.

What dz said...I use ours on the AS all the time.

after all JC has a "power washer room", and they never find any leaks.

There is no reason you can't use a power washer if you use it properly as dz described; however, there is also no reason not to remove the stabilizer jacks and attend to them properly. Take 'em off, clean 'em up, lubricate 'em, and reinstall on a nice clean belly.
