Can I run without the belly pans?

I have the belly pans off our Overlander for painting & some minor repair. My wife & I would like to go camping next week but the work won't be done. Can I run at Interstate speeds without doing damage if I leave the pans off or should I replace them and then remove them after camping? We will only be going about 100 miles.

I'm sure someone will chime in with a reason that it would be the end of the world. I say try it.

I would think the fiberglass insualtion would fly off the bottom. If that happens and blinds a driver, liability, HELLO.

Then if you hit rain while towing, then the bottom of the floor will certainly get wet.

Some wiring will also flop around that's in the underbelly.

Temporarily refastening the underbelly back on the make the trip, shouldn't take very long. Then you would be safe.

One thing is for certain, you can't run that thing in your current avatar without a belly pan.
