Big old banana wrap holes

I'm thinking about purchasing a 75 Sovereign. The exterior is in really nice condition, with one exception. There are 3-4 good size holes/rips in the banana wrap... they vary from the size of a tennis ball to the size of a football. Otherwise tho, it's in great shape. I see info here on how to remove dents and such, but what can be done about holes?

Thanks.

Could you post a couple of pictures? Are they on the corners or sides?

Banana wraps are on the 4 corners. They are easily replaced. The metal variety banana wrap is history, long ago. Plastic is now used.

If the holes are in the metal on the sides, below the rub rail, that's called "underbelly wrap".

That is also easily replaced.

Which area has the holes?

Andy
