Banana Wrap Finish

This question is in regards to replacing the banana wraps on my 69 Sovereign.....If I replace them with plastic what type of finish would I have to apply to get them to look good against the old banana wraps along the trailer....InlandRv does carry the replacements in plastic,,,,,Has anyone replaced their wraps with plastic and if so what did you do? Thanks ...Tim

Tim.

Banana wraps can be painted prior to shipment.

Usually we paint them either metallic silver or metallic charcoal gray.

FUNDAVE.

A 61 trailer does not have banana wraps.

A banana wrap in later models, is mounted at each lower corner of the trailer and goes between the floor line and underbelly.

I see, my 31' 1970 has those.// I'm replacing the floor in the bath and had to remove them to get to the floor bolts.
Thanks Andy
