95 ecella bumper
Just got back from 5,000 mi trip, been out a few times in the year I have owned AS.. The exterior is a mess (few dents, faded etc) but very fuctionable. The inside has been updated (a/c ,appliances, shower, toilet, flooring, etc) I am continuing on the interior as I go...
Anyway, the reason of my post... I have read a number of links on bumper problems. I too have the cracks..No moisure (that I have found), no 'sag' yet(?) but I have scrapped the bumper many times. I cant even (ever) have gotten the storage box under the bumper open..
So here are my questions...Should I be paying more attention to inside the box and the possibility it may be wet? Do I need to repair the bumper before it cracks more? Do I need to check flooring in back for moisture? (floor was replaced 5 or so yrs (says the PO), or leave well enough alone?
(It sits outdoors on my 10 acres as a 'weekend getaway', and I plan on traveling for 4 weeks at a time, three or four times a year) Thoughts?
