Wooden steps/deck questions plans

, For years I have been contemplating making a set of steps for our silver twinkie that is set up seasonally. I have looked at others, taken measurments and am now ready to build.

My tentative plans
5/4 decking for the steps. Bottom Step 2 planks, top step/deck 4 planks
2 x 8 for risers Bottom 33", Top 22"

Width, that is the question
Was thinking of 36", 30" for the door and a little room to keep muddy shoes or a plant on. Most of the steps I have seen do not have middle riser.

Talking to a friend, he related that 5/4 decking is meant to be on 16" centers. So for a 32" wide step/deck, you would need three risers. The next possible width using this theory would be 48" with four risers.

Other options
18" center, 3 risers, = 36" width
20" center, 3 risers, = 40" width

I was not planning on a handrail as shown in the photo.

Any ideas or thoughts.

Thanks

I did a set for my trailer. My only real considerations were:
A. Wide enough to comfortably accomodate ingress and egress.
B. Tall enough to comfortabley accomodate ingress and egress.
C. Narrow enough to get in the door so I can take it with me.

Don't go overboard overthinking it. It is not that big of a deal.

This is the best pic that I have of the steps in use..
