What's this??

Can someone let me know what this is for?? This was in one of my cubbies..not quite sure what it's for but it looks like a step of some sorts.

you're not alone. I can't figure any way to fold that into a step stool or insert it in any spot on any of my three vintage AS's that would make it functional. Maybe you guys/gals with the newer trailers have some option unknown to us who live in the past...

Hey Ann, It is a step. The bar fits over the back of the tire... I've seen this used on trucks before as a step up to work the engine or get into the bed. LP

Thanks Lee..I just went out to play with it but I still can't see how it would fit over my wheel to be effective....the top bar doesn't even flip over enabling it to fit over the tire...although maybe it was put together wrong. I think this might go to the heap pile
