Since we have 6 they do not travel with us. They go to "Aunt Jillian's"( a climate controlled kennel) and the LOVE the A/C! My biggest is 160# and the smallest is a Border Collie/Pyr mix that goes 75#.

They are wonderful dogs. the one in my avataris my oldest at 12yo.

Nice to see another pyr owner here.

I think that ours is a collie mix. I'm DNA testing soon just for my own curiosity, also potential health risks. We just call her our "pocket" since we don't know. I'm quite smitten with her.

Not really hijacked, just got off topic a bit and I take the blame. Shehanigans, I will PM you with further dog discussions so the thread can get back on track and not offend anyone.

I think that's a bit dramatic. I basically apologized for not knowing how to PM it.

Post #11 has apicture of the steps. I had made a "platform" to go where my steps would be as I don't put them out. Platform was made from 2X6's and is heavy and kind of cumbersom. I like donh's idea better and will probably make a set as well. Have als been giving thought to making some out of Aluminum as I also have some welding skills.

Turns out the spot we got has a a deck, we pulled right up to it and won't need our steps until December. Plenty of time to prepare
