Need Steps for our 1977 Argosy Minuet 6.0 Metre

Our little Argosy Minuet 6.0 Metre does not have steps. We would like to add them and want to know what we should purchase. Any Minuet owners out there that have steps on their rigs? If so please share the details / setup.

Thanks!

Need Steps for our 1977 Argosy Minuet 6.0 Metre

Greetings myboyburt!

The Minuets never had permanently attached steps. Much like the 1961-1963 Bambi, the Minuet relys upon a step-stool that was included with the original purchase. I was very fortunate to receive the original step with my Minuet. The photos below are of the step that came with my Minuet when I purchased it from its original owner five years ago:

My speculation is that the step was manufactured by the same craftsmen who built the trailer. It is constructed of riveted aluminum and has an Argosy orange tread on the top.

Good luck with your Minuet!

Kevin

Thanks! It's pretty cool you have the original step stool that came with your trailer.

I'll check under Scatter Bug's door tonight to see if there is enough frame for us to attach a manual, two step unit that Camping World sells. We are trying to reduce the stuff we need to lug around (jacks, step) for this rig so attached steps will help us get to this goal.
