Critter-Proofing my AS

I have gone through every seam and void under and around my Airstream and feel confident that not even a sugar ant can enter...except for one area...under the steps. When I am camping and have the steps out, there are two tracks (1/2" wide by 18" long) that the steps slide on that are open to entry by critters and is located only 5 feet from my kitchen sink. You can look into these openings and see the area within the banana wrap. The area where the sink pipes and fresh-water lines go down makes it accessible to the interior of my AS. Anyone have any fix for this issue?

I've filled cracks like that with spray foam. It will breakdown and have to be redone at some point, but it's easy to do.

That's an excellent idea, I didn't even think of that. Do you think it will fill enough of the area to block off the sub-floor/banana wrap area around the steps? I'll pick up a couple of cans today. Thanks for the tip.
