that's a small section of
3m scotchcal
paint protection film...
it really shouldn't be re-guled.
it' is there to provide a small abrasion/protection area, from the zipdee roller ENDCAPS...
so the awning doesn't rub on the skin...
you can clean under it with soap/water or use compressed air to blow out the grit.
consider trimming it back close to the remaining tightly stuck portion...
and then adding a small patch of new in it's place...
but
ONLY if the awning/endcaps have potential to touch in that area.
otherwise just
trim it back, clean and wax the area....
