What Color Blue Is On The Nameplate

Hi All,
Wondering if anyone knew what the color blue was used by Airstream on their nameplates. I have a '58 Traveler.
If anyone knows the PMS Color System Color just quote the PMS Color.
Thanks.

I was told to use Rustoleum 7727 Royal Blue. Not sure how close or correct it is, but that is what I bought to use on mine, when I get to it!

heavyd, you are right. I found out the color from a thread a couple of years ago here on the forum. I used the blue on the Airstream script on the upper front and rear of my Sovereign. I intend on using the color on the Sovereign names on either side also. Good luck to you both.

He wasn't asking what people like he was aking if anyone knew the correct color which I am in the same boat I would like to know the CORRECT COLOR I am restoring a 1966 overlander. Sorry If I sound grumpy but there are alot of questions on here that people ask and get alot of good answers but when someone asks a question about restoring something back to factory specs and then people start saying what they like it gets annoying looking through what people think instead of answering the question.

I sure don't want to upset any "grumpy" Streamers but this is what the Factory sells, why not just match that?

I like the forum for the information and suggestions and thoughts that flow from member to member.

If the question is what is the Airstream "color"?

Airstream factory in Jackson Center has a phone, I am sure they would have the exact answer to the question

Airstream Blues

Thanks all for your input - much appreciated. Obviously everyone has their own take on what constitutes the "right" color blue. I didn't really want to contact Airstream with a such a frivolous request and thought the collective brains trust of the forum would bear fruit. And it surely has.

As most of you contributors live in Airstream Land (USA) I rely heavily on knowledge from your country.

My home town is Melbourne Australia and there aint a lot of Airstreams around!

Thanks All

I can't think of a better way to be annoyed. I am appreciative of the ideas and suggestions and thoughts offered by other fellow Airstream owners. If you want original info go back to the source, if your are interested in opinions and conversation come to the "Forums".
