Wash & Wax

I store my Airstream outside and haven't washed it since I got it 2 weeks ago. Any recommendations on what wash and wax products?

I currently use Adam's Polishes but I have seen several people post a product called Glaze. Thanks in advanced!

I think it's Glare you are speaking of...and I like it very much. Lasts a year and easy to apply and remove. Wash and wax just like your autos. nothing special about the clear coat.

Sounds good any suggestions on finding a shaded area during the wax process?

Glare isn't as sensitive to the sun as some. I'd just work on it in the morning and evening, avoiding the 10am - 3pm sun heights.

We use it on our new Airstream and like it very much. Also use it on the front window rock guard because the bugs and road grime come off easier. It is supposed to contain a glass component that reflects UV light, which if true is a good thing.

If you have never polished the trailer you can put it right on (after washing). Otherwise I believe you are supposed to remove the old polish before applying it so it can bond to the Airstream finish. The container or website should give instructions.

We first found it at the Airstream Service Center where they offer application of it as part of their service offerings, but the labor cost is not cheap. You can also order it from the Airstream Store.

Be sure and use a soft brush as the aluminum can scratch.
