It is the joints that leak on the AS, not the metal itself. So if this stuff would seal the joints it might be useful. But it seems to be a surface coating, not a joint seal.
No mention of how long it lasts or how the color of the surface is changed.
Still, an interesting product.

Just to put my post in perspective: It was tongue in cheek. There are several reasons why this would be less than ideal. The primary one is that it dries a translucent white. The next is it would be be very expensive. I just thought it was an very interesting product. I am thinking of coating our toilet rim, so I will stop getting complaints of spotting due to ineffective targeting. The spots that end up on the floor, I blame on the cat.

Not just the toilet rim Ken. Imagine never having to wipe down the shower stall or clean the sink? This stuff should be marketed in a spray can.

I love the shot in the video where the water is basically free standing on the painted slab. Maybe you could have an above ground pool with no wall. Can you imagine pulling into the campsite and just spraying a circle of this stuff on the ground and then filling the circle with water.
Maybe that's expecting too much of it.  Although I'm sure a bird bath would be possible.

Yeah, but all that stuff that runs off the underwear will just end up in your socks. Then you'll have to coat your shoes and socks. The stuff will then end up on the ground. You'll slip in it and break the very butt you were trying to protect in the first place.
