Trim Piece Temporary Fix Suggestions Needed

Hello fellow AS's,

I have a 2015 FC 25'. A year ago a dealer in the south repaired a rock guard bracket & torn skin (panel & bracket replaced). It is in Maine right now, but will be towing it for winter storage in Louisiana with no time for a shop repair. I found a piece of trim hanging from it this morning and would gladly welcome any suggestions on a repair that would hold up at interstate speeds along the 2100 mile trip south. I have no experience with body/trim work and don't want to use an inappropriate adhesive that, at worst, couldn't be removed without damaging the trim piece, or the larger trim piece it is embedded in. I have attached a photo to show the piece. Currently, what failed looks to be something like double-sided sticky tape. Is is possible to glue/tape/caulk just this piece that is hanging, until later next year, when I will make the trip to JC for factory service to fix another issue. Thank you in advance for any suggestions or help. Michael

Yes. Just glue 'er back on. If you bought new rub rail insert that's all it has--a tear off strip that exposes the glue and you stick it back on.

To stick I used this...

Then covered with 3m 1" wide blue reflective tape.
