Question Toned down paint for '63 Bumper and Tongue?

I am seeking advice of painting my bumper and tongue. I want it to be aluminum / silver in tone - yet slightly on the dull / subdued side. Anyone have a recommendation on a brand name paint available in quarts nationwide. Better yet, I would prefer to have the local auto paint store mix me a unique color. What color did the AS factory use in the 60's? If you have a link to your final product depicted in a photo I would love to see how your bumper and hitch turned out with your updated color. FYI, I have already primed with Sherwin Williams Pro-Cryl.

I used a paint called "aluminum ingot", I think it was a Krylon color. Kind of a dull silver-grey.

I painted our trailer tongue with POR-15 Stirling Silver Topcoat from Vintage Trailer Supply.
