I'm looking forward to laying eyes on the only test I know of yet. LI Pets will be at Hiawassee this weekend and has their propane tanks done with one of the Alsa materials.
I think the most important thing to remember is that MirraChrome and the other Chrome finishes from Alsa are not paint. The process is metal disposition. You are applying a very small amount of metal over top of the glossy surface. I'm not a painter so I can't comment on adhesion over the dry glossy surface but your question makes sense.
One thing they always say at Alsa is that less is more. Take a look at the videos on their site. Going from a gloss base to a chrome finish is just a minor dusting process and then a wipe down. An interesting process for certain.
