Silver Paint vs Clearcoating the Finish

Has anyone used this product on their Airstream?

Whats the result?

I have seen painted Airstreams dont know how long they last

I have been pretty happy with mine, but I have noticed more and more of the paint and clearcoat coming up off the trailer. I am wondering now what I am going to do.

I figured the trailer would have been totally stripped before paint.

Was it sealed soldier be fore paint? I wonder if it is like a car

It was clear coated with automotive clear coat...yes

Well people are doing it. I saw a guy he was a retired pharmacist, first one I saw painted silver. He said it got rid of all his maintenance

You dont recall if you used Imron or Base coat clear coat or that single stage eurithane? do you

I did my sons 4x4 in dual stage Eurathane and it has held up against scratches and nicks. when he is in the woods and road chips at the bottom ( Mud Tires)
