rub rail replacement

I need to replace the beltrail and rubrail. The previous owner applied some kind of pinstriping tape that is now cracking and fading and is unsightly. Question is , how do I get the tape off? (por15 stripper?).

Try a blow dryer...have had good luck removing decals with this method.

Have you tried WD 40? Por Strip is pretty much for plastic coating.
