We bought a 92' Excella that looked like it was molting- plasticoat coming off. After reading forums and being not too handy, we were looking for a refinisher.
Got a tip on this website that led to Sutton RV, who pointed us to Dick McIntyre in Monroe OR. Turns out he had a hand in creating the old original clear coat for Aistream. Grew up in the business- his dad sold trailers way back when.
We got the Airstream back after a few weeks and OH MY GOSH!
Beatiful work- - polished and recoated, even touched up the decals and exceeded expectations- repainted the tank cover and hitch, re-caulked.
It looks more georgeous than I could imagine, and Dick was a marvel and pleasure to work with.
A true craftsman!
I would be very interested in the cost. You can PM me the information if you do not wish to publicly disclose your budgets.

I also had Dick refinish my 21ft Sovereign this spring. Our trailer came out looking great too and it was a pleasure dealing with him. After comparing all the options, Dick was way cheaper than anyone and I suspect you get a longer lasting finish. I don't remember exactly, but I think the cost for 21ft was ~$1,700.

Thanks for that info. I would like to have mine re-polished and coated so I don't have to fuss over re-polishing regularly. And it's even close to home! Come to BB and show off your shine
