plasticcoate substitute

does anyone know of an acceptable product to use instead of plasticote. It seems like no one wants to sell to to a novice. I have a 99 34 limited with some small peeling and a 75 tradewind that could use a gallon of the stuff

The skins are good but they are ready to get some shine

Welcome to the forum!

Here is a product that I have always wondered about for just such an application - though you probably would want a dust-free environment in which to apply it. I have extensive peeling on my '94, and considered it myself. Probably will end up stripping what's left off and polishing, though.
