I was up on the roof cleaning it and realized it’s time to be painted. In the prep work do you scrub the adhesive that seals the skylights and vents clean and paint around it or over it. Or should the adhesive be removed and replaced. If I should remove the adhesive do you paint and then apply the adhesive on top of the paint or not. The adhesive looks like it is showing it’s age going on 4 years since manufacturer but does not leak, yet.
