Painted '62 Flying Cloud - Opinions Please?

I've started stripping our '62 Flying Cloud and discovered dings filled in with bondo. It was originally silver but we purchased it two-toned (tan and white). My question is, should I proceed with the stripping now that I've found bits of bondo or should I have it repainted. I'd planned on stripping and polishing but am discouraged to find bondo. Boo-hoo. Opinions please?

Are you taking the inside out?? Some dents you can get out by pushing on the inside, or using a suction cup. How thick is the Bondo??

My Opinion, but I'm not doing all the work, is to strip it.. It was made to shine..

Hi - We're not planning on gutting the trailer interior - it's in fair shape. The paint's on the outside. The biggest bondo area I've found so far is the size of my hand - I think the trailer may have side-swiped or brushed up against something but I haven't gotten that far - thought maybe I should stop before I get into even more bondo! ?? We love this little trailer and have put a fair amount of time/$$ into it so we were discouraged to find bondo on the outside. Always intended to strip/polish it.

Well even if you strip the whole thing, the bondo doesn't come off with the striper right...... So if it is too bad just paint it again then..... Mine has some dents and the don't notice to bad, they don't have bondo in them...

Thanks, Jason. It's a bummer, but everything else is nice about it.

being a 62 owner also, I have to ask... what about the floor and frame? Isn't that a little more important than the shine. I am doubtful that it is all okay under there. Just being devils advocate here.
