Here is one that they did for a fellow I know of from southeast Missouri. It was found in Fla, clear coat peeling. The stripped it polished it and recoated it. They used new graphics to make it look like a current line trailer. I think this was a '97 trailer. The wheels are the give away that it wasn't brand new. It was one sweet job. I think it was their first 34' unit. If I'm not wrong, I think the before picture of this trailer is on their web site.

FYI that picture is mine. I went down to a local campground and looked at the trailer. This is a good example of the newer aluminum and how it looks when polished. Not the mirror finish but really good looking anyway.

Our clearcoat was done by P&S in either 1994 or 1996 by the previous owner. It still looks fair for 13 yrs . I highly recommend P & S Trailer. Very nice people Call em Up They don't bite.

I can't say enough good things about P&S. We had our exterior refinished by them last January and everywhere we go folks think it is a new unit. They do the little touches that really matter. The wheels, trailer tongue, graphics, underneath, tank cover, and seal every seam. Steve and his guys are friendly and helpful with the dumbest of questions by patiently talking you through.
We had a new heat pump put in and many other "little" things done that ended up with us really having a "new" trailer.
The fun part is approaching their place and seeing all the Airstreams parked in the middle of corn country.
Anyway, thanks to Steve that folks like him exist..........Dennis

p and s trailer clearcoating feedback, happy or upset

Greetings Wishsilver!

P and S Trailer Service polished and re-Plasticoated my '64 Overlander in 2001 -- with twice annual Walbernize treatments it still looks wonderful. I requested the original sheen polish that replicates the appearance of the coach in '64 rather than the mirror shine that seems to be preferred today.

The photo above was take on a cloudy day -- and the original sheen is just what I wanted.

Streetside -- they even polished and Plasticoated my wheelcovers.

Curbside -- it figures after all four wheel covers were polished and Plasticoated the coach would just have to throw one along I-280.

They even polished my Worthington tanks (they were new and had never been filled -- I don't know that they would polish tanks that had been in use).

This was the starting point -- the coach hadn't been refinished since 1977 -- and hadn't had regular Walbernize coatings since 1980.

Needless to say, I am a very satisfied customer, and would have no hesitation about taking my coach back to P and S.

Good luck with your investigation!

Kevin

Jack & Kevin,
Thanks for posting the great pics! Your airstreams look wonderful! We asked about putting newer model stickers on ours as well. Looking forward to our appt. with P & S. Will post pictures when she is done.

They did a swell job with our 310 Motorhome

We had our coach recoated by P & S in the spring of 2007. They did a beautiful job with great attention to details. It would have been a huge job to polish the entire coach but they did polish some selected areas and also replaced the side decals for us.

We are very happy with the results and would have any future work done by Steve and his crew.

P&S did a 1984 classic mh for me and it was outstanding. wasnt cheap but it was a lot of work and they did and outstanding job.
i tell the story about the time i went to the smokies and on the way home i stoped in maryville tn . i pulled off on the curb and was checking my towed and all of a suddenn everyone was stopping to look at my motorhome and caused a traffic jam. the cop told me i had 30 seconds to get my out of town. i took his advice.

Thanks for posting that link, Jack. That is one seriously good looking trailer. I'm jealous.

Highly Recommended

Wishsilver,
I will add my kudos to the work that Steve and Kevin do at P & S. We had our 34' '87 done there early last spring and we LOVE the job they did. I had them strip, polish, and clear coat the whole enchilada. Originally the job was only to be the roof and end caps from the top rivet line. But when we pulled into their shop area there was an '87 or '88 that they had just finished. I took one look at it and told them I wanted mine to look just like the one I was parked next to.

They also updated the mid-riff decals, replaced the blue vinyl rub rail strips, removed, sandblasted, and repainted all the "Airstream" and "Excella 1000" fixtures. We also had them add road side and rear Zip-Dee awnings as it did not come from the factory with them.

You can see a few before and after pictures in our gallery...
