Lightbulb NeverWet

So, who's going to be the first to try this?

Looks like it would be a cool option for clearcoat IF it works, goes on evenly, is exterior-worthy & is cost effective ~

Says it's available @ Home Depot - I may pick up some to check it out.

It sounds great, except it leaves a whitish blotchy coating. You can see it especially well on the square of glass before they pour the green water on. You can also see it on the cardboard box they used for a beer cooler.

Essentially, it's not suitable for anything where appearance is important.

It's shown up on the forums before.

I never thought of that! The thought of never again having to apply floatant to my flies is very appealing.

I'm a buyer for a retail chain and I deal with Rustoleum. I will be listing this product when it is available in Canada in September. The rep tells me that people are treating their satellite dishes with it to improve reception during a rain storm. That's one of the features I'll be advertising in the flyer. I'm getting a sample sent to me this week and I will be playing with it.
