Moldings, Exterior Trim Question

On a 2001 Safari, there is both a "beltline" and the usual lower molding. The molding itself is, I think, extruded aluminum. There is a self adhesive, "chrome" finish vinyl insert. On this trailer, the finish has failed on the insert. Is this material available to replace the old vinyl trim? Has anyone had experience in replacing?

Call any Airstream dealer and the chrome insert is sold by the foot . Peel out the old and install the new by pulling off the backing strip and pressing in the new moulding. Easy as pie.
