Heard a rotary buffer this morning at Fort Pickens Natl Seashore CG. This what I found. Parents sitting around the fire and a little guy on top shining.

Went for a walk on the beach and unfortunately they left before I got back.

Life is too short to be working so hard while camping.

What a great kid! He's already hooked! I bet he gets himself a silver trailer when the time comes.

PaulnGina...the opposite may also be true...after having to do this over and over this kid may NEVER want to own a shiny AS. Personally, I'd also stand close to my AS to catch him if he slipped.
Having said this...can't wait for my 6-year old to get up there and help. jon

While camping in SW Co at Gunnison big texan camp ground a fellow came by and offered to do a fast polish. I felt his offerer was a little high at $400 for a 27 footer.. It wasn't like he was starting from raw condition.. Just needed a touch up annual job..
That was about 1/2 of what our trip was budgeted for so passed on his offer.

I was waxing mine when my daughter said "do you know how many nights you could have stayed in a condo for what you paid for that thing"? I said " it's your inheritance"!

Nobody asked the question: why is that kid polishing the top? Who sees that? I'd be saving up my polishing chips for the sides! I have big plans for some of that hi-tech ceramic paint for the top of mine...

Careful with that! As Tower of Power so eloquently pointed out: "Once you get a taste, there's no turning back"!

I'm looking into that Lazard Skin, sounds great!
