How to remove number adhesive

Stripped the front segment with the numbers and the WBCCI decal. I cannot get the adhesive off the AL. I have used Citri strip several time and used Lacquer thinner. The adhesive is nice and clean now but it is still there. How to remove it?

3M Adhesive Remover or a rubber decal wheel.

I've had good luck with Aircraft Stripper, available at many car parts stores.

Sometimes I resort to my electric heat gun. That might help too.

Try 'Rapid Remover' but follow the directions very carefully. Test in an inconspicuous area first.

Available online, Amazon is one source.

^^^ this stuff is amazing. +1 for rapid remover. Airplane paint stripper as well. be sure you get it from an automotive paint store, they usually keep it behind the counter. That stuff will peel the pai... oh wait that's what it's for... get gloves mask etc. it's potent.

I bought a product from Menards called Heavy Duty Adhesive Remover. It's a kind of stripper that is thick & you paint it on. I tried all the other things listed above on my stripe that left the adhesive behind. This was what finally worked. I don't see it on their website, but it was at the store.

Go to a dollar type store, buy baby oil and soak the adhesive daily. It may take 30 days of doing this but you will not damage anything. It works
