Question How to remove silver paint from exterior skin?

The PO used a bit of silver spray paint around the front window and even sprayed over the Airstream plack! Nice! Question: What is the best way to remove the paint and not mar the aluminium? Tks, Z.

Start with mineral spirits, then move "up the food chain" until the old stuff comes off. Probably enamal reducer will be what gets most of it off.

Give Goof Off a try, I have good luck using it on a variety of finishes.

THIS IS ONLY FOR THICK BUILD UP! AND TRAILERS YOU PLAN TO POLISH!!! Aircraft Stipper and a Copper metal brush.... The stripper will raise the paint. Then the copper brush will open it up some, it is soft so it will not leave marks with a nice soft touch... Please take your time and dont rush it may take 3-4 times with the stripper. The copper brush is used to remove only the lifted paint. Do not try to use it to rub it off! (this could leave marks)
The last step is to use a 3m pad fine to medium together with some stripper this will lift what paint is left. I use distilled water to then wash off the stripper that is remaining. NOTE: STRIPPER WILL TAKE OFF CLEAR COAT!
