Tedious

Dang this is a lot of slow work just to make it pretty! But I promised pics so for those that are not too bored with mundane tasks, here are the latest. 'Bout ready for a couple coats of clear and then we hit the road again.
PS: Yesterday was so windy the paint was blowing off my brush as I tried to paint. Today, no wind and the gnats were so bad I had to wear ear plugs just to keep them out of my ears. Many will now spend eternity in the paint.

Rookie mistake

As always, I need a bit of help.
Look at my last post and do you see the Reese Torsion Bars in the top pic? Well...I took off the chains (they are now painted black) and am ready to put it back together...On the head of the bars are the two solid rods that fit into the receiver head. (covered in blue painters tape in this pic) One of the bars is rounded on top and the other is flat. But for the life of me I cannot remember which goes up and which goes down. Feeling inside the receiver on the hitch does not seem to give me a clue. I think the rounded one goes up, Right or not?

Chuck, the bar on the bottom is right side up. It likely also has a #750 or so stamped on it. The # goes up. Looking good.

Absolutely great! I need to get out and do mine also. Spent all last weekend doing some spring cleaning. Wash, silicon all gaskets & awning, took down & washed all the interior blinds, washed the windows, wiped down the cabinets , .......
Susan says if she could just get me to do that stuff in the house. It just isn't the same at home.

Sorry boys, guess I had toooo much time on my hands. To her credit, Susan keeps a sparkling house, and will do the same in the trailer. But truth be known, that trailer is MY project. I enjoy tinkering with it and when there's no tinkering to be done sometimes I must resort to cleaning it. One of the many symptoms of alumanitas. I've got it bad.
